‘Seeing the Light of Day’
This workshop will focus on the theme of beginnings – the start of the day, the season of spring, the impulse towards hope, and the emergence and the realisation of new ideas. We will respond to music, poems and images which convey the energies and rhythms of beginnings, movement and growth. Poets will include Alice Oswald, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Linda Pastan, Mary Dorcey and Mary Oliver.

Cycles of Plenty: Poetry in the Harvesting Season
As the earth turns toward autumn, we are invited to pause and notice what has ripened in our lives. This workshop uses the symbols of harvest: corn, grain, sunflower, and the cornucopia, to explore abundance, gratitude, and the natural rhythms of growth and release. Through poems by Lorca, Kunitz and others, we will honor both fullness and letting go, discovering the ways our hearts hold their own harvest of memory, meaning, and renewal across the seasons.
